How we rank

Prefably is a directory, not a paid ranking product. On state pages we generally sort by public rating signals (when available), then by company name.

Verified listings are profiles we have reviewed with the company — specialties, contact path, and available ratings. Unclaimed listings are public directory records that may be incomplete until the business claims them.

We do not sell placement in organic state lists. Featured placements, if offered later, will be labeled clearly.
